Estratégias não medicamentosas para controle da psoríase: revisão de literatura

Abstract
Introdução: A psoríase é uma doença de pele crônica, sistêmica e inflamatória com diferentes apresentações clínicas, frequentemente recidivante e classificada também como doença autoimune. Fatores genéticos e ambientais, incluindo dieta, desempenham papel importante na patogênese da psoríase. Objetivo: Este trabalho tem como objetivo abordar a eficácia das dietas recomendadas por médicos e cientistas, e mais utilizadas recentemente por pessoas que sofrem de psoríase. Materiais e Métodos: Foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica nas bases de dados em saúde MEDLINE, LILACS e SCIELO, utilizando os descritores em Ciências da Saúde (DeCS): Psoríase; Psoríase do couro cabeludo e dieta anti-inflamatória. nos idiomas português e inglês, considerando o período de janeiro 2018 a junho 2022. Resultados: Foram encontrados 50 estudos, 30 foram incluídos e 20 excluídos por não atenderem aos critérios de elegibilidade. De acordo com a literatura observou-se que a psoríase é considerada uma patologia multifatorial causada pela interação entre genética e gatilhos ambientais, onde o estilo de vida das pessoas, é um fator determinante para o desenvolvimento da doença tendo como agravante dos quadros psoriático uma alimentação desequilibrada e inflamatória. Conclusão: O resultado desta revisão demonstra que, pacientes que sofrem com psoríase estão sendo cada vez mais orientados a buscar um estilo de vida mais saudável onde a dieta tem um papel essencial.
